The first edition of the Italian Brass Week international festival took place in Santa Fiora (GR) on Monte Amiata.
A version very much felt by the local public, starred Andrea Dell'Ira and Marco Pierobon on trumpets, Andrea Conti on trombone, Mario Barsotti on tuba and Luca Benucci on horn, and artistic director, founder of this festival.
The five musicians formed the "ITALIAN BRASS QUINTET" quintet playing both at the festival and in many other locations and international halls.
Many students' concerts, including the final concert with their idols.
